What is Mosquito Barrier Spray?
The barrier spray that Skeeter Beeter uses is a synthetic pyrethroid, which is derived from chrysanthemums. The compounds of the chrysanthemum have insecticidal properties that can be used as a defense against mosquitoes.
The same pyrethroids are currently used in commercial applications meant to control insects like pet shampoos, insecticides, and lice shampoos. The barrier spray that we use is often enough to kill pests on contact including ticks, fleas, and sometimes gnats and flies, making it a perfect anti-bug barrier for nearly all insects.
